GOAT MILK SOAP

Gitchee Goat and Garden of Spice soaps are natural, chemical free and handmade from scratch. They are made from pure, natural, food-grade skin safe ingredients with no preservatives, colorants added or synthetic ingredients.  The colors you see are its natural colors. Each scent is carefully selected from essential oils and fragrance oils.  Other natural additives may be used such as oatmeal, ground almonds, apricot seeds, honey and beeswax (from time to time may be from our honey bees), dried flower petals, etc..  Unlike most harsh commercial soaps, our soap (both goat's milk and natural) contains naturally reoccurring glycerin, which helps the skin retain its natural moisture.

Each bar of soap contains fresh goats milk that is hand milked twice daily from our wonderful herd of ladies.

Goat milk soap is rich in vitamins, proteins and minerals providing a wonderful, moisturizing experience.  Each bar produces a rich and creamy lather, leaving your skin feeling fresh, clean and silky smooth.  

With a variety of soaps, some soaps are designed for specific purposes like our gardener’s soap.  It is excellent for scrubbing up dirty hands and neutralizing odors.

NATURAL SOAP

GOAT MILK LOTION

Thick, rich and creamy Gitchee Goat lotion is all natural and non-greasy and gets right to work softening and replenishing moisture to your skin.  The lotion is absorbed quickly and leaves your skin silky smooth.

LIP BALM

Gitchee Goat lip balms are all natural and petroleum-free.  Glides on smoothly with a minty fresh taste and does not leave a waxy build-up.

GITCHEE GOAT GIVES BACK

 At the end of May 2010, a black bear cub named Hope was abandon by her mom Lily. Researchers in Ely, MN set out a formula made from canned goat’s milk for the cub to drink for nourishment.  Immediately, Gitchee Goat volunteered to donate fresh goat’s milk and brought many gallons up to Ely.  After a month and a half of supplementing the goat’s milk formula, mom and cub were reunited.   

In honor of Hope, Gitchee Goat created "Hope’s Soap - made with the same goat’s milk Hope drank.”  A portion of the proceeds from each bar sold on the wehsites of www.gitcheegoat.com or www.hopessoap.com were donated to the North American Bear Center in Ely, MN.
